Fusion Recovery - Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT)We are seeking a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) to provide clinical and therapeutic services within our Comprehensive Outpatient / Day Rehabilitation Program. The LCAT will deliver creative arts–based therapeutic interventions to individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.The LCAT provides admissions assessments, clinical intervention, and counseling services in both individual and group settings. This role carries a caseload of clients and works closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support recovery, emotional regulation, trauma processing, and relapse prevention. The LCAT plays a key role in Day Rehabilitation programming, providing structured therapeutic services that support stabilization, skill development, and recovery.Conducts admissions assessments and intake evaluations to determine appropriate treatment needs, level of care, and program eligibility.Carries and manages an assigned clinical caseload, providing ongoing therapeutic services and case coordination for clients.Develops and facilitates Day Rehabilitation therapeutic groups utilizing creative arts therapy modalities (art, music, drama, movement, or other expressive therapies) to support recovery, emotional expression, coping skills, relapse prevention, and wellness.Provides individual, group, and family counseling to assigned clients/residents using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.Conducts clinical assessments and evaluations to identify substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.Develops, implements, and updates individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the multidisciplinary treatment team.Demonstrates knowledge of group facilitation and therapeutic group management techniques and applies those techniques appropriately in a Day Rehabilitation setting.Provides psychoeducation and therapeutic programming related to substance use disorders, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and recovery-oriented skills.Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, case notes, and discharge planning in accordance with OASAS regulations, Medicaid standards, and agency policies.Assists with client orientation to the program, including explanation of program goals, expectations, client rights, responsibilities, and services available.Maintains and updates referral resources and community supports and provides referrals when necessary and appropriate.Participates in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, case conferences, and care coordination with medical providers, counselors, case managers, and peer support staff.Demonstrates knowledge of professional boundaries, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.Contributes to the structure and therapeutic environment of the Day Rehabilitation program, promoting engagement, recovery, and skill development.Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) in New York State required.Experience working with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health conditions preferred.Experience conducting clinical intakes/admissions and managing a clinical caseload preferred.Experience facilitating therapeutic groups or structured programming in behavioral health settings preferred.Strong leadership, excellent organizational, clinical documentation, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a culturally diverse environment.
