Healthcare Provider Enrollment Specialist/ Enrollment Operations Specialist
Duration: 6+ months with possible extension or conversion to permanent Responsibilities: · Review and process provider request for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with program, state, and federal requirements. · Coordinate with providers, agencies, and internal teams to resolve missing information, discrepancies, or account issues. · Communicate clearly and professionally with providers regarding portal access, requirements, and next steps. · Monitor work queues and workflow to support timely processing and adherence to internal and external SLAs. · Document application activity, decisions, and communications accurately within designated systems. · Collaborate with team members and leadership to manage workload, prioritize urgent requests, and address volume fluctuations. · Maintain current knowledge of enrollment policies, procedures, and program updates, including changes related to CMS, DVHA, or other governing entities. · Support special initiatives or enrollment surges as directed. · Adhere to confidentiality, data security, and compliance requirements at all times. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in healthcare administration, provider enrollment, credentialing, or customer support preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately review and process complex information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with computer systems, databases, and standard office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, document management systems). Preferred Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of Medicaid, healthcare provider enrollment, or managed care environments. Familiarity with SLAs, regulatory requirements, and compliance‑driven workflows. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. Professional demeanor and customer‑focused approach when working with providers and stakeholders.
