As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Auto Glass Manager to lead our auto glass division.Position SummaryThe Auto Glass Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the auto glass department, including managing technicians, scheduling jobs, ensuring quality control, and driving revenue. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering exceptional results.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management Oversee daily scheduling and dispatching of auto glass technicians Manage workflow to ensure timely, high-quality job completion Monitor and maintain inventory of glass, adhesives, moldings, and supplies Coordinate with the service center on vehicle-in-shop and mobile jobsTeam Leadership Recruit, train, and develop auto glass technicians and installer staff Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching Foster a positive, safety-first team culture Enforce adherence to AGRSS (Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standards)Customer Experience Resolve escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally Ensure all customer interactions reflect Glass Doctor's commitment to quality Coordinate with insurance companies for direct billing and claims processingSales & Business Development Achieve monthly revenue and job volume targets Identify upsell opportunities (ADAS recalibration, chip repair, etc.) Build relationships with car dealerships, fleet accounts, and body shops Monitor local market trends and competitor activityQualificationsRequired 3+ years of experience in the auto glass industry (installation or management) Proven experience managing a team of 3 or more employees Strong knowledge of auto glass replacement and repair processes Familiarity with insurance billing and claims (Safelite, Lynx, etc.) Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record Proficiency with scheduling and CRM softwarePreferred NGA (National Glass Association) or AGSC certification Experience with ADAS calibration equipment and procedures Prior experience in a franchise or multi-location environment Knowledge of flat glass services (residential/commercial) a plusWhat We OfferCompensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Performance bonuses Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) Paid time off & holidays 401(k) with Employer matchGrowth & Culture Industry training & certifications Career advancement opportunities Supportive, team-first environment Stable, locally owned business Uniforms & PPE providedHow To ApplySend your resume and a brief cover letter to:eddie.sieber@glassdoctor.comPlease use the subject line: "Auto Glass Manager Application – [Your Name]"Glass Doctor of Charlotte is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
