Job Description NOW HIRING – MATERIAL HANDLER/CRANE OPERATORLocation: Minooka, ILPay: $20.00/hour — $25.00+/hour after 90 days!Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:00 PMOvertime: May be required | 5:00 AM–3:00 PMWe are seeking reliable, safety-focused individuals to join a small team supporting large stainless steel production operations. This is not a typical warehouse role. The position involves heavy materials, repetitive work, and physical labor in a manufacturing environment.JOB DUTIESDirect trucks to the proper areas and doors for loading/unloadingReceive and ship finished and raw materialsPlace protective cardboard corners on stainless steel bundlesBand steel bundles for shipmentOperate an overhead crane safely and efficientlyAssist with loading and unloading materialsMove inventory, scrap, and packaging materials to support productionLift up to 50 lbs., including pallets and rolls of paperMaintain accurate inventory locations and report changesIdentify and report damaged productComplete and submit shipping/receiving paperworkResolve shipping and receiving issuesMaintain a clean and safe work environmentEQUIPMENTOverhead crane – training provided for qualified employeesSit-down forklift – limited use, less than 10% of the timeOther material-handling equipment as neededREQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or GED requiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Comfortable with physically demanding, repetitive workStrong safety awareness and attention to detailAbility to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periodsReliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when neededPrevious manufacturing, steel, shipping/receiving, forklift, or crane experience is a plusADDITIONAL INFORMATIONSmall team environmentPPE provided, including hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vestEmployees who demonstrate reliability and proficiency in general labor may be trained on overhead crane operations**This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in steel manufacturing and material handling.About Malone:**Malone is a private, award-winning company dedicated to providing excellent job opportunities to all our employees.
