If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.Assist clients in navigating services and resources available through the Department of Health and Senior Services.Conduct assessments to determine individual needs and eligibility for programs.Provide support and counseling to clients, helping them to set and achieve personal goals.Collaborate with community organizations to enhance service delivery and client support.Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and case management activities.Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in social services.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.Experience in a related field may substitute degree requirement.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.Ability to empathize with clients and understand their unique needs.Organizational skills to manage case documentation and follow-up activities.Proficiency in using computer systems and software for case management.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in public health or social services environments.Knowledge of local community resources and programs.Certifications in counseling or case management.Strong team collaboration skills and a positive attitude.Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.The State of Missouri offers an excellent benefits package that includes a defined pension plan, generous amounts of leave and holiday time, and eligibility for health insurance coverage.
