Cybersecurity Engineer

This award-winning company delivers comprehensive technology-based solutions and services to federal customers, specializing in cybersecurity, ICAM, Zero Trust, digital engineering, and enterprise AI.The Role Immediately contribute to Zero Trust (ZT) initiatives for federal customers. Assess and document current state of on-premises and cloud network enclaves and applications. Identify ZT implementation gaps and develop/execute migration plans leveraging ZT benefits. Support achievement of 2027 and 2032 ZT target objectives for baseline and advanced ZT. Become a subject matter expert in one of the DoW CIO seven pillars of ZT, guiding solution development. Perform ZT security readiness assessments, develop implementation roadmaps, and provide solution recommendations.What You'll Need Minimum 4 years experience in network solutions architecture, engineering, implementation, or operations. Experience with cloud-based network infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle Cloud). Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network security & SIEM technologies (e.g., Zscaler, Palo Alto, Splunk). Familiarity with NIST 800, FedRAMP, RMF, Security Controls, and FISMA operating standards. Bachelor of Science in computer engineering, computer science, IT, cybersecurity, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute). 8140 Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP-ISSAP, GCSA) and an active Secret Clearance.What's On Offer Opportunity to work on critical federal cybersecurity initiatives.
