For more information, please visit https://www.callawaygolf.comRoles And ResponsibilitiesProduct/process development for all new and modified golf ballsGolf ball commercialization process owner as related to manufacturingGenerate capital project requests, including cost analysis and justificationCollaborate with equipment engineering group on design and execution of capital projects related to process improvement, equipment replacement, and new product requirementsSupport operations gross margin initiatives via productivity improvements, process improvements, new materials, and impactful cost savings programsResponsible for establishing and maintaining product specificationsResponsible for establishing and maintaining product material bills (except for packaging)Responsible for establishing and maintaining manufacturing instructionsProvide input to finance relating to product costsWorks with outside suppliers for material development and qualificationConducts process capability studiesConduct raw material vendor auditsLiaison between Chicopee ball operations and Carlsbad R&D teamDevelop new manufacturing processesSupport quality initiatives and defect reduction via best practices and SPC methodologySupport CI/Lean initiatives via active participation in staff green belt development and applied practicesComply with safety policies and procedures where applicableProvide technical support subsidiary and 3rd party manufacturing sitesMaintain documentation related to new product development, production pilots, legalActs in a supervisory role overseeing Process Engineers and Engineering Technicians to include coaching, training, performance reviews and disciplinary action when requiredWorks towards improvements for process efficienciesWork in a safe manner following all PPE and standardized processesPerform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.DE&I and EEOC:Inclusion & Diversity: As a purpose-led, performance driven company, we strive to foster a culture of belonging based on respect, connection, openness and authenticity.
