Location: Portland Metro Area (varies by event)Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week (hours may fluctuate based on event schedule)Duration: 6-month contractPay Rate: $21–$26 per hourPosition OverviewA client of LHH Recruitment is seeking a reliable and hands-on Event Assistant to support the execution of events across the Portland metro area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on-site, supporting logistics, and helping events run smoothly from setup through teardown.Key ResponsibilitiesTransport event materials, supplies, and equipment to and from event locationsAssist with event setup and teardown, including staging, signage, tables, and materialsProvide on-site administrative and logistical support during eventsCoordinate with internal staff and vendors to ensure event needs are metTrack and organize event materials before and after eventsSupport general event-related administrative tasks as neededQualificationsPrior experience supporting events, administrative work, or hands-on operations preferredAbility to lift and move event materials (up to ~40 lbs as needed)Valid driver's license and reliable transportation within the Portland metro areaStrong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detailComfortable with a flexible schedule, including occasional early mornings or eveningsPositive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to jump in where neededHigh School Diploma or equivalentBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
