Kids Designer

A fast growing junior and kids manufacturer located in Commerce, California is seeking a talented, dedicated individual to join our design team as kids designer. This candidate needs to have strong background and experience in kids dress and sportswear design and be able to work as a team player in a fast paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams Responsibilities: * Researching current fashion trends and working with sales team to present the line for upcoming market/season * Working with production and pre-production team by selecting and approving all production components * Collaborating with tech team and pattern makers by attending the fitting and making comments and corrections to the production styles * Sketching styles and creating tech pack with detailed specifications for styles for costing * Developing CAD illustrations for styles and artwork and re-colorations through Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator * Working with pattern maker and sample room to create mock ups on fabric that will translate to real, dimensional garments * Sourcing fabrics and developing line samples with oversea vendors Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $70,000.00 per year Experience: * Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Required) * Adobe Photoshop: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: * Commerce, CA 90040 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Commerce, CA 90040: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
