Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the futureThe Facility Technician operates a natural gas gathering and processing & booster facility, performs maintenance and repair of instrument and mechanical systems, and ensures safe and reliable operations. The Facility Technician will perform all operational and some maintenance, electrical, troubleshooting, and repair tasks. The Facility Technician will report to the Roggen Plant, also supporting the Enterprise Booster Station and the Cattlemens Booster Station.This position requires the successful completion of an online assessment. Your assessment results will be valid for one year.What You’ll DoPerform the safe startup, shutdown, and operation of various equipment and processing systems in a multi-train, cryogenic gas plant and booster facilitiesConduct routine inspections and equipment rounds of the facilityOperate storage and truck racks (such as condensate, NGL, wastewater, etc)Work with others to optimize processing throughout the facility and maintain proper product specificationsRespond to alarms and problems within the plant and make appropriate correctionsPerform a variety of light mechanical maintenance and repair dutiesPerform light maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and electrical equipmentPerform product composition and quality sampling and testingWork autonomously and in diverse weather conditionsBased on business need, remain available for facility callout and overtime coverageParticipate in and successfully complete training programs, risk management reviews, and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations and company policyReview and follow procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards to meet requirementsAccurately complete documentation such as timesheets, SAP work orders, safe job plans, and work permitsOptimize work in most effective manner, in alignment with the Maintenance Work Process (MWP) and within the tenets of S.A.F.E. and Stop Work AuthorityMaintain facility appearance and general safety through good housekeeping practicesEffectively utilize tools and tests equipment as neededRespond to operational emergencies as a member of an emergency response teamPerform and accurately document regulatory required inspections, both State & FederalOversee contractors providing specialty servicesRead and comprehend technical procedures, and / or governmental regulationsRead, understand, redline, and communicate facility P&ID and electrical one-line drawingsTrain the existing and new facility shift operators to a level of competency required for single man facility operationsDevelop and revise facility operational proceduresAttend PHAsWhat You’ll Bring - RequiredLegally authorized to work in the job posting countryHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent2 or more years of oil and gas operations experienceValid Driver’s LicenseWilling and able to work a shift schedule, as neededWilling and able to, with or without reasonable accommodation:Work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts when requiredWork inside gas plant conditions as well as outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidityWork in loud environmentRegularly stoops, squats, kneels and crouches for durations up to 3 minutesPeriodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the gas plantLift up to 50 poundsOccasionally exerts pulling force of 130 poundsOccasionally climb A-frame and fixed vertical laddersWhat Makes You Stand Out - Preferred5 or more years of oil and gas operations experienceCompletion of Tech school programCompensation RangeThis position has a base salary range of $70,200 to $123,200.At Phillips 66, we are committed to pay transparency and competitive, equitable compensation.
