Process Operator

The Process Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, sampling, and transfer of raw materials delivered via tanker trucks into designated bulk storage tanks. This role ensures all incoming materials meet quality standards prior to unloading and that all processes are executed in compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental requirements. This position is anticipated to last approximately six (6) months.Coordinate the receipt of raw materials in alignment with production schedules and operational needsPerform sampling of incoming materials according to standard operating proceduresVerify that all materials are tested and approved by Quality Control prior to unloadingSafely transfer approved materials into designated bulk storage tanks using proper equipmentMonitor unloading operations to maintain product integrity and prevent contamination or spillsAccurately document receipt, sampling, testing status, and transfer activities in required systemsCommunicate effectively with Quality Control, drivers, and internal teams to support workflow efficiencyConduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concernsEnsure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental standardsParticipate in safety trainings, audits, and continuous improvement initiativesPrior experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or bulk material handling preferredFamiliarity with tanker unloading procedures and safety protocols is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating proceduresBasic computer skills for documentationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to stand, bend, walk , climb, and lift as needed during shiftsRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Must be able to recognize potential safety dangers around plant equipment and walk-ways.Must be able to work 12- hour shifts in outdoors conditions
