This role focuses on sourcing materials and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations.The ideal candidate will have experience supporting procurement activities within government, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop procurement strategies in collaboration with program and project stakeholdersPrepare and issue RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs in compliance with procurement policiesEvaluate supplier capabilities and support supplier selection activitiesNegotiate pricing, terms, and contract conditions with suppliersPerform cost and price analysis to ensure procurement efficiencyMonitor supplier performance and ensure contract complianceMaintain accurate procurement documentation and recordsSupport supplier relationship management and performance improvementEnsure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and federal procurement regulationsConduct market research to identify qualified suppliersMonitor procurement budgets and cost performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and program managementGenerate procurement reports and performance summariesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred)Experience working in procurement or purchasing rolesExperience supporting government or defense procurement environmentsKnowledge of FAR, DFARS, or DCMA guidelinesExperience performing supplier evaluation and contract negotiationExperience performing cost and price analysisExperience using ERP or procurement systemsStrong communication and negotiation skillsStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyAbility to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneouslyPreferred QualificationsExperience working in defense or aerospace industriesCertification such as:CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management)CFCM (Certified Federal Contracts Manager)Experience supporting government contractsExperience supporting regulated procurement environmentsExperience supporting supplier audits and compliance activitiesCompensationEstimated hourly range: $40–$45/hr (W-2)Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.Work Schedule: 9/80 ScheduleWork Location: 100% Onsite – Hudson, NHContract Duration: 6+ Months
