Process Engineer

Our client is a manufacturer of specialty resins and engineering materials used in multiple different industries. They currently seek a Process Engineer for their plant in north central LA. The ideal candidate will have process/production experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. This position has promotional potential and offers an excellent relocation package.As a Process Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Daily troubleshooting and firefightingUtilize Root-Cause analysis, risk assessment, and assist in HAZOPsContinuously optimize productionPlan and manage various process improvement projectsRequirements:BS, Chemical Engineering required2+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility; chemicals preferred but will consider many different backgrounds including pulp and paper, resins, coatings, etc. Must have experience in process and/or production engineeringPrevious experience in a PSM-regulated facility is ideal Salary Range: Up to $120,000 + 10% yearly bonus potentialProcess Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Engineering/Manufacturing/Chemicals/Chemical Manufacturing/Engineer/PSM/Production Engineer/Operation Engineer/Resins/Coatings/Paper Manufacturing/Plant Engineer/Continuous Improvement Engineer
