QA Automation Engineer

Title: QA Automation EngineerLocation: Raleigh, NC – Hybrid [ only NC locals]Type: Contract to Hire (C2H)No C2C, Only W2 and USC/GC/EADYour role:Have you successfully planned, organized and controlled all test activities? Do you have the know-how for achieving the defined test goals and implementing the testing? Do you want to be our test expert, making sure our application and technical environments meet the requirements?This role, reporting to Test Manager, will interact with Quality Assurance teams, Development teams and Business teams. This role is responsible for successful delivery of Change the Bank and Run the Bank testing engagements. ·        We’re looking for a Tech quality & test engineer to:·        design, build and maintain an automation framework for testing the department's systems globally·        manage, monitor and improve the infrastructure·        develop custom tools and integrate with existing tools to increase engineering productivity·        define the automation book of work, collaborating with the team to deliver efficiencies and productivity improvements via test automation·        liaise with multiple stakeholders at all levels across the bank including international locations·        comply with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plansYour team:You'll be working in the Advisor Enablement platform team. The team is currently working on delivering the next generation platform for Wealth Management in Americas. The team works in the Agile development model and using the latest technology stack. The team consists of Full stack developers, Business analysts and Dev Ops and work closely with the relevant stakeholders.Your expertise:·        5+ years of experience of testing complex systems and business flows·        complete understanding of sdlc, qa and defect lifecycle·        experience with test data identification & creation·        exposure to test management tools (e.g. jira, quality centre, squash)·        automation experience using various tools like qtp, testcomplete, selenium·        experience in building automation frameworks·        working experience on various ci/cd tools·        assists/writes high level test strategies with input from the dev feature lead and/or business and derives time estimates
