About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Superintendent to lead our I&E team. This role is critical to maximizing operational value and driving a strong safety culture.Reporting to the Refinery Services Manager, you will:Lead and develop a team of front‑line supervisors and a crew of approximately 40 craftspeopleIdentify and act on opportunities to increase value generationPartner with technical specialists to bring additional expertise and drive operational performanceBuild and maintain an effective, safety‑first cultureCoach people and provide development opportunities to enable high performanceOwn efficient, effective problem‑solving, decision‑making, and action at the appropriate levelsInstill a culture of employee ownership in facility care and operationWhat You’ll BringRequired:A combination of relevant technical skills and experience will be considered; a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferredSupervision or operations experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing, or similar environmentsLeadership experience in a fast‑paced settingAbility to work effectively in multi‑functional and multi‑disciplinary teamsStrong communication and leadership skills to manage a technical teamSolid knowledge of electricity and instrumentationExperience with control systems (PLC, HMI, Drives, SCADA)Commitment to continuous improvement and team performanceSoft Skills:Ability to articulate technical concepts to personnel at all levelsLeadership, autonomy, flexibility, decisiveness, strong communicationPreferred (assets):Knowledge of relevant safety regulations (e.g., MSHA, OSHA)Experience in mining, metals, or heavy industrial processing
