Food Safety Analyst
Owning critical FSQA programs, the full-time Food Safety Analyst will manage the Member Incidents & Issues Program and the Hold & Release Program, responding to product quality concerns and coordinating inventory control during recalls, either onsite in Playa Vista, CA or remotely.
Key responsibilitiesManage the Member Incidents & Issues Program, including triaging reports, conducting inspections, and tracking corrective actions
Coordinate with vendors on inventory credit processing and maintain accurate records of incidents and investigations
Oversee the Hold & Release Program, ensuring proper documentation and execution in inventory systems during crisis eventsRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field with 2 years of relevant experience, or 4+ years of experience in food safety or quality assurance
PCQI certification or equivalent food safety training
Working knowledge of FSMA regulations, GMP requirements, and food recall procedures
Experience managing consumer complaints and vendor communications
Proficient in Excel, Word, Google Workspace, and digital quality management systems
