Join a firm where your career can make a difference.The Application Development team is seeking a Senior Full Stack Application Developer to support and evolve KPMG's Class Action Administration platform and related client-facing applications.This role is responsible for the development, enhancement, support, and modernization of existing solutions while contributing to the design of a reusable and configurable application framework that can be leveraged across future client engagements. The successful candidate will work across the full software development lifecycle, balancing hands-on development, production support, cloud technologies, and collaboration with business, architecture, security, and delivery teams.What You Will DoApplication Development & ModernizationDesign, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using modern Microsoft technologiesBuild front-end applications using React, Vite, TypeScript, and related technologiesDevelop scalable APIs, services, and backend components using C#, ASP.NET, and modern .NET technologiesCreate reusable application components, shared modules, and configurable features to support multiple Class Action engagementsTranslate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutionsContribute to application architecture, modernization initiatives, and the evolution of a reusable Class Action application frameworkPromote development standards, reusable patterns, and maintainable design practicesApplication Support & OperationsAct as a key technical resource supporting Class Action Administration applicationsSupport production and non-production environments, ensuring application stability and performanceTroubleshoot and resolve application issues, operational incidents, and production defectsPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actionsParticipate in release management, deployment activities, upgrades, and technical debt remediation effortsSecurity & GovernanceApply secure development practices throughout the software development lifecyclePartner with Security and DevSecOps teams to address vulnerabilities and security findingsSupport application hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirementsEnsure solutions align with KPMG development standards, security controls, and governance processesCollaboration & DeliveryCollaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, support teams, and delivery leadsParticipate in Agile planning, estimation, technical reviews, and delivery activitiesContribute to technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement initiativesSupport application delivery in accordance with established SDLC and operational processesWhat You Bring To The RoleBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience5+ years designing, developing, and supporting enterprise web applicationsStrong full-stack development experience with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET, and REST APIsExperience building responsive, accessible (WCAG-compliant) public-facing web applications and implementing Google reCAPTCHA or similar bot protection technologiesExperience with SQL Server/Azure SQL, Azure Functions, and integrating enterprise servicesExperience developing and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure, including cloud-hosted solutions and CI/CD using Azure DevOps and/or GitHubKnowledge of authentication, authorization, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and secure software development practicesExperience supporting production applications, troubleshooting complex issues, and contributing to application modernization initiativesFamiliarity with Clean Architecture and building reusable front-end componentsExperience maintaining legacy applications using technologies such as .NET MVC, Bootstrap, jQuery, and Next.jsExperience working in Agile environments with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsThis position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders nationally in our English speaking provinces while at KPMG.KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $106,600 to $156,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
