Job Description Upcoming San Antonio location of Muck & Fuss seeks Kitchen ManagerThe Kitchen Manager will lead a large kitchen team specializing in casual dining, ensuring high-quality food preparation through hands-on involvement. This role requires strong leadership and operational skills to maintain food safety, manage inventory, and optimize menu offerings. The manager will coordinate staff schedules, oversee supplier relationships, and uphold budget standards while delivering excellent customer service. ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead a kitchen team of 16+ staff membersControl inventory to minimize waste and manage costsPlan and develop menus aligned with casual dining preferencesEnsure compliance with food safety and quality standardsManage kitchen budgets and vendor/supplier coordinationTrain staff and resolve conflicts to maintain a productive work environmentSchedule shifts and manage order inventory effectivelyMaintain kitchen equipment and oversee maintenanceParticipate in hands-on cooking and food preparationDeliver exceptional customer service through kitchen operations Required QualificationsMinimum 3 years as Kitchen Manager or General ManagerTexas Food Handler Manager certificationTABC CertificateStrong knowledge of food safety complianceProven inventory management skillsDemonstrated team leadership and conflict resolution abilitiesExperience with budgeting and menu developmentExcellent time management and communication skills
