Nurse Manager
Medical City Healthcare is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead a high-performing nursing team within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will provide day-to-day clinical and operational leadership, ensuring that patient care is safe, evidence-based, and aligned with our organization's standards of excellence. You will oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation; mentor and develop nurses and support staff; and collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary partners to optimize patient outcomes and the overall patient experience.
The Nurse Manager will be responsible for maintaining compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements, including Joint Commission and CMS standards, and will champion quality improvement, infection prevention, and patient safety initiatives across the unit. You will use data and clinical metrics to identify trends, implement process improvements, and measure results, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Working on-site within a busy clinical environment, you will handle performance evaluations, coaching, and conflict resolution, while supporting professional development through education, training, and competency validation. You will participate in budget planning, manage supplies and equipment, and help drive operational efficiency without compromising quality of care.
Although Medical City Healthcare is a healthcare institution, it embraces a culture similar to innovative, tech-forward organizations: encouraging curiosity, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration. As Nurse Manager, you will have the opportunity to explore new tools, technologies, and care models that enhance patient care and streamline workflows, working with talented colleagues who are passionate about transforming healthcare delivery. This position is ideal for a clinically strong, forward-thinking nursing leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to developing teams and elevating standards of care.
