Operations Manager

Brief DescriptionResponsibilities The Operations Manager is part of the Operations Team. This is a full-time, exempt position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following)Lead a zero-incident culture and make safety a top priority.Supervise and lead production supervisors and team leaders for product lines within your responsibilities.Direct priorities for the team to achieve Delivery Goals.Accountable for driving Lean initiatives throughout the organization to ensure they are fully embraced and implemented.Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate fast improvements and improved working relationships.Own Cost of Non-conformance (CONC) Metrics and overall Quality Performance for your value stream.Responsible for supervisor, team leaders, and production workers training, development, and evaluations. Interviews, hires, and monitors the performance of team members; reviews and evaluates their needs and potential; develop appropriate cross-training and other development programs. Review and approve the performance and merit increase proposals for all assigned team members.Establishes goals and metrics for the team, set and drive performance ownership and assess performance. Make adjustments as necessary to ensure the team is meeting its goals.Own the overall cost of the Value Stream.Set the tone for improvement including idea generation and participation in Site CI initiatives.Train and develop team members as well as provide oversight and coaching to other team members.Provide the vision and strategy.Lead by example, be a positive role model.Actively engage and recognize team members.Empower team members, provide resources and remove barriers.Systems UsedMicrosoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel)CSIUKG RequirementsAssociate's degree from an accredited institution; Bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum four (4) years of experience in operations or operations supportMinimum two (2) years of supervisory experienceKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing Knowledge of Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) conceptsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsLeadership, coaching and influence management skills.Ability to prioritize and multi-task.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office productsGeneral Notices Process Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
