Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing sleep medicine dental practice in Indiana. In this role, you will support the doctor during sleep apnea consultations, oral appliance fittings, impressions, and patient education. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented dental assistant who enjoys working closely with patients and being part of a collaborative clinical team. Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist chairside during sleep apnea consultations and oral appliance fittings Capture dental radiographs and 3D digital scans when applicable Take digital impressions or traditional dental impressions Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and treatment rooms Educate patients on oral appliance therapy, sleep apnea treatment, and appliance care Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation Track and manage oral appliance cases and lab communication Ensure smooth clinical workflow and patient experience Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience required Current Dental Assistant certification Experience with digital dental scanning technology preferred Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills Excellent patient communication and customer service skills Experience in sleep medicine, sleep apnea treatment, or dental sleep medicine is a plus (training provided) Why Join Dental Sleep Medicine of Indiana?
