Construction Superintendent
Job Description:
To manage all functions of the job site(s) as it relates to project construction with great customer service.
Schedule and supervise job sites, subcontractors, property walk-through and inspections.
Maintain company construction and safety standards.

Physical Demands:
While performing duties of the job, incumbent is sometimes required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
Employee must sometimes lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities (in order of importance):
Plan and direct construction activities on the building site
Schedule all involved subcontractors for each phase of development and construction
Deliver each project on schedule from planning through completion; ensure that all contract obligations are satisfied with clients’ satisfaction
Approve work being performed by subcontractors and handle any related issues
Approve subcontractors’ invoices upon thorough inspection of work
Maintain a safe work environment - implement safety requirements and good housekeeping regulations, enforcing safe work habits, observing OSHA requirements and any state-level agencies’ regulations
Maintain compliance with all applicable building codes
Verify all checklists are completed and inspections are scheduled and passed
Conduct owner/property orientation and any re-walks ensuring clients’ satisfaction
Identify and enforce quality standards through daily inspection of projects under construction
Monitor project site cleanliness and hold subcontractors responsible for daily clean-up
Schedule and manage subcontractors to make designated warranty or common repairs
Follow up with ownership group or property management company to make sure that concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner
Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
Ability to work additional hours as necessary to meet business needs
Develop and maintain good rapport with subcontractors, owners, property management companies, city officials and inspectors
Execute company policies and enforces uniformity on construction methods to ensure compliance with quality standards
Suggest improvements within the system
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.50-$39.90 Hourly
