Medical Director Services PC is looking to hire a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) to service multiple skilled nursing facilities in the Springfield, MO.Competitive salary offered commensurate with experience!Excellent opportunity for growth!Duties:Responsible for all open wounds in the facility- including cleaning and dressingResponsible for completing admission paperworkProviding advice & support to the Residents and their familiesMonitoring Residents and administering medication and treatmentsDocumenting Resident care services by charting in Resident & dept. recordsProtecting Residents & staff by adhering to infection-control policies & protocolsResolving Resident problems & needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategiesAssuring quality of care by adhering to Facility philosophies & standards of careMaintaining Resident confidence by keeping information confidentialTracking of infection control Monitoring and reporting, including monthly reportsRequirements:Current State NP/PA LicenseLong-Term Care Experience PreferredMust be wound and ostomy certifiedSolid computer skills; working knowledge of MS OfficeExcellent communication skillsFriendly and a team workerABOUT US:Medical Director Services was founded in 2016 when SNF’s were shifting a focus on value at the same time treating residents with higher level of acuity.
