SummaryResponsible for the cleaning and preparation of hotel rooms for the guest while maintaining systemstandards and consistency.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES which may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks: Clean assigned rooms according to property standards. This includes making beds, cleaningbathrooms, vacuuming carpet, washing dishes and dusting furniture. Place and restock useable items in the suite including paper items, soap, towels, matches, andcandy, according to System Standards. Clean immediate exterior entry areas and windows, according to standards. Operate housekeeping equipment in a correct and safe manner. Maintain and restock housekeeping cart each day. Know hotel emergency procedures. Responsible for the proper administration of key control for issued keys, or keys left by guests insuite. Bring all lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper's office for logging and storage. Report immediately to the Executive Housekeeper any out of the ordinary situation in the guests'suite, including unreported pets, parties in the suite, unusually dirty sites or a vacant suite whenthe room is thought to be occupied. Complete maintenance work orders and deliver to Inspector or designated area in a timelymanner. Accommodates guest special requests courteously. Answer guest questions regarding the hotel and local area facilities and services. Miscellaneous duties as assigned; reasonable requests from a supervisor.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those thatmust be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
