Program Manager Location US-OH-Wright Patterson AFB ID 2026-1748 Category Program Management Position Type Regular Full-Time Remote No OverviewApogee has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager SME in support of the M-Code Aviation Receivers Joint Program Office (MAR JPO) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. These positions support critical GPS User Equipment modernization programs with a focus on systems engineering, test and evaluation, and platform integration activities. The MAR JPO manages a $22 billion acquisition portfolio developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms.These are full-time positions located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB).ResponsibilitiesServe as senior program manager for GPS User Equipment acquisition and modernization programs at Wright-Patterson AFBManage multiple concurrent pre-award, modernization, production, and sustainment projectsDevelop and execute acquisition strategies for MAGR-2K, EGI, R-EGI, SDUE, and antenna modernizationCoordinate systems engineering activities, including requirements development, design reviews, and configuration auditsLead platform integration efforts with aircraft programs at Wright-PattersonSupport test and evaluation planning and executionPrepare acquisition milestone documents and program decision packagesDevelop technical contract requirements documents (PWS, CDRL, QASP, SRD)Manage resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)Conduct market research and source selection supportLead program risk management and mitigation activitiesCoordinate with AFRL and other research organizations on technology developmentSupport open architecture and Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) implementationParticipate in Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and design reviewsProvide senior leadership advocacy briefingsLead trade studies for technology insertion and capability upgradesSupport Manufacturing Readiness Assessments and Production Readiness ReviewsCoordinate with test organizations on developmental and operational testingManage contractor performance and technical evaluationsQualificationsMinimum Experience:Citizenship: Must be a US citizenClearance: Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearanceCertification: Project Management Professional (PMP) or APDP Program Management Level 3 certificationEducation: Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or related technical fieldYears of Experience: 15 years of DoD acquisition experience with at least 5 years as a Program ManagerAdditional experience:In-depth knowledge of GPS/GNSS systems, navigation warfare, and PNT capabilitiesExperience managing ACAT I or II programs strongly preferredDemonstrated experience with Defense Acquisition System and DoDI 5000.02Strong leadership and team management capabilitiesExcellent communication skills for executive-level briefingsMinimum Experience:Education: Master's or Doctorate Degree in Engineering or related technical fieldYears of Experience: 12 years of DoD acquisition experience with at least 5 years as a Program ManagerAdditional Information:Location: Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB), OHOn-site: This is a full-time on-site positionTravel: Travel up to 20% may be required, per the customer's discretion
