Inside Project Manager

The Inside Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of fabrication projects involving sheet metal, heavy plate, and structural steel. This role works closely with senior project managers, estimators, engineering, and shop supervisors to ensure projects move smoothly from kickoff through delivery. We want your confidence and determination to shine in all you do - join our team today!Location/Schedule: Macon, GA / 1st shiftRequirementsWhat You'll Do:Coordinate internal project activities from contract award through final shipmentReview fabrication drawings, cut lists, and BOMs for accuracy and completenessTrack material orders, vendor lead times, and delivery schedulesCommunicate daily with engineering, purchasing, and shop leads to maintain workflow alignmentUpdate project schedules, status reports, and internal tracking systemsAssist with change orders, RFIs, and documentation updatesMonitor project costs, labor hours, and material usage against budgetSupport quality control processes by ensuring documentation and inspections are completedCoordinate documentation and logistics for outgoing fabricated componentsParticipate in production meetings and follow up on action itemsHelp identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements Who You Are: Experience or education in manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or project managementBasic understanding of fabrication processes such as cutting, forming, welding, machining, and finishingAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication details (or willingness to learn quickly)Strong organizational and communication skillsComfortable working in both office and shop-floor environmentsFamiliarity with ERP/MRP systems, scheduling tools, or project management softwareAbility to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure2D/3D design experience utilizing Autocad/Solidworks or equivalent would be preferred BenefitsWhat We Offer:Excellent CompensationMedical, Dental, & Vision InsuranceHealth Savings AccountLife & Disability InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramTeam MeetingsEmployee Committees & InvolvementBonus Incentive ProgramCommunity Service DayTeam Events & ActivitiesAwesome Company Culture**We kindly ask that applicants refrain from contacting the company directly regarding application status.
