Construction Assistant Project Manager (Central Ohio)
Position: Assistant Project ManagerReports to: Project ManagerLocation: Central OhioPay Range: $65,000 - $105,000We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.Superior is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help drive our electrical construction projects forward. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for helping make operations on-site more efficient and will play a key role in our contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions.This role is based on a jobsite and supports projects across Central Ohio with jobsite assignment based on business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the creation and submission of RFI’s, and ensure that all RFI’s are integrated into the project documentsCoordinate with vendors and suppliers on the lifecycle of the project submittal processSupport with the creation, submission, and management of change ordersCapture the progress of our work by updating contract documents and photographing the jobsiteMonitor the project schedule and provide ongoing updates to Project Operations and Field Operations leadersWork closely with the Foreman on delivery of materials and equipment to the jobsiteLead project close-out, including documentation, warranties, waivers, as-builds, and attic stockBegin to develop an understanding of project finances, working closely with Project Operations and Finance leaderYour Character TraitsYou’re organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detailYou’re a strong communicator, a team player, and ready to work with colleagues across our jobsites and organizationYour ExpertiseRequired: You have at least 1 year of field or project experience on a commercial construction site (including relevant internship experience), or a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field — or a certificate from a Construction Management programBonus Points: You have prior experience supporting commercial construction projects in a project management capacityBonus Points: You hold an active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationOur BenefitsWe offer a range of professional and personal perks that you can enjoy as a member of Superior.
