Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work in Ambulatory OR with 9 operating rooms • Schedule options: 3x12 shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) or 4x10 shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM), Monday through Friday • One late week per 4 weeks required to complete cases • No weekends or on-call responsibilities • No major holidays required • Possibility of floating within Perioperative facility • May be required to precept a care team member in the operating room • Guaranteed hours with potential call-off of 10 hours per 2-week period • 2 years of OR experience required • Travel experience required • First-time travelers not accepted • 30 hours of orientation provided • Required certifications: South Carolina RN License or Compact RN License, BLS • Radiation badge must be provided by parent company • Epic charting system experience required • Preferred experience in Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, and Surgical Oncology • Work with specialized equipment including lasers, Mini C-Arm, Storz video towers, Arthrex arthroscopy towers, Neptune suction/smoke evacuation system • Handle procedures including joint replacements, arthroscopies, plastics, surgical oncology, endocrine, ENT, ophthalmology, minimally invasive surgery, GU, GYN procedures • Patient ratio of 1:1 • Treat adult patient population • During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams Facility: This healthcare organization operates a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center featuring 9 modern operating rooms equipped with advanced surgical technology.
