Mixing TechnicianThis opening is for ONE Mixing Technician, 2nd Shift: 2 - 10pm with a paid 30-minute meal break. Training for the position may take place during 1st shift hours (6am - 2:30pm) for approx. 1 - 3 weeks.ResponsibilitiesAs a Mixing Technician (Chemical Operator) you will be responsible and accountable for the safe and efficient mixing of batches of chemical materials by adding raw materials into a mixing pot. This role requires a moderate amount of overtime throughout the week and sometimes on Saturdays.Your key responsibilities will be/what you'll do:Adhere to quality and safety systems and standardsHandle hazardous raw materials and products with appropriate care and precautionMonitor process conditions and equipmentParticipate in the creation and the maintenance of a clean work areaJob QualificationsRequirements:High School education or GED equivalent is required.Experience operating a fork truck is a plusExperience working in a manufacturing environment or clean room is preferredWilling and able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as requiredWilling and able to work in a restricted, electrically classified area for use of flammable and combustible materialsAble to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
