Job DescriptionLooking for an individual with experience in accounting that can successfully manage our finances. RequirementsMust be a U.S. person. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Willing to commute (position is only in-person). Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Supervise accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial planning. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax regulations. Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure reliable financial reporting. Work with external auditors during audits and implement recommendations. Interpersonal communication skills. Succeeds at being a team player and working independently. Preferred SkillsNavigate Excel. Analyze complex financial data. Familiarity with accounting software and financial modeling tools. Experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, or similar. Experience with government contracting, sales, and accounting practices.
