Solar Appointment Setter

Location: Buffalo, NY — OnsiteSchedule: Full-Time, Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Eastern TimePay: $16/hour plus commissionTraining: 2 days of paid trainingAbout the RoleWe are hiring motivated and professional Solar Appointment Setting Agents to contact potential customers and schedule appointments for consultations about how solar panels may help lower their monthly electric bills.This is an onsite, full-time position based in Buffalo, New York. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, comfortable speaking with new people, and able to clearly explain the value of setting an appointment with a solar specialist.This role is a great fit for someone with previous sales, outbound calling, appointment setting, customer service, or lead generation experience.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Solar Appointment Setting Agent, you will:Place outbound calls to potential customers using company-provided leads.Introduce homeowners to the potential benefits of solar energy.Identify customer interest and determine whether they may qualify for a solar consultation.Schedule appointments for customers to speak with a solar specialist.Accurately document call outcomes, customer details, appointment information, and follow-up notes.Follow approved scripts, call flows, and compliance guidelines.Maintain a professional, positive, and helpful tone on every call.Meet daily and weekly goals for calls, conversations, appointments, and quality.Participate in coaching, training, and performance feedback sessions.Required QualificationsCandidates must have:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous sales, appointment setting, telemarketing, lead generation, or outbound calling experience.Strong verbal communication skills.Ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.Comfortable working in a goal-driven environment.Basic computer skills and ability to enter information accurately.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Ability to work onsite in Buffalo, NY.Availability to work full-time between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Saturday.Preferred ExperienceAdditional experience that would be helpful includes:Prior experience in solar, home improvement, energy, roofing, HVAC, windows, or related home services.Experience using CRM systems or call center dialing platforms.Customer service experience in a call center or office environment.Ability to handle objections professionally and keep conversations positive.Experience working with performance goals, commissions, or sales incentives.Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.What We Offer$16/hour base pay plus commission.2 days of paid training.Full-time employment opportunity.Onsite team environment with coaching and support.Opportunity to grow within a sales, appointment setting, or customer engagement team.Clear performance expectations and the ability to earn more through commissions.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, coachable, and comfortable making outbound calls.
