Position: Administrative Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities: Manage and maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Handle incoming phone calls and inquiries, providing excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and providers Coordinate prescription processing, including data entry and prescription refill requests. Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory compliance, audits, and inspections. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace. Support the training of new team members on administrative procedures and protocols. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Provisional Pharmacy License or Certified Pharmacy License required. Proven experience in administrative roles within a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred. Strong proficiency in pharmacy software systems for data entry and prescription processing. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with patients and colleagues effectively. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and confidential records.
