With our unwavering commitment to excellence, we are confident that our team will thrive and succeed in all areas of their lives.Position OverviewThe Deputy Director of Secondary Implementation will collaborate with iLEAD CA staff to design, implement, and improve personalized secondary learning programs. This includes integrating CTE and Dual Enrollment opportunities, conducting pathway assessments, and using data to identify needs and guide decision-making. The role supports schools in implementing programs with clear benchmarks, monitors learner progress and program effectiveness, and analyzes secondary outcomes to inform continuous improvement. Additionally, the Deputy Director provides targeted professional development, promotes a culture of data-driven reflection, ensures fidelity of grant-funded programs, and supports equitable access to college and career pathways, while performing other duties as assigned.What You Will Do (Duties and Responsibilities)Collaborate with iLEAD CA staff to build personalized secondary learning programs for grades 7-12, integrating career-connected learning, CTE, and Dual Enrollment.Assist schools in conducting comprehensive pathway assessments to identify gaps in engagement, instructional fidelity, and learner "on-track" status.Develop high-level needs analyses using quantitative data (registration trends, college course pass rates, grant spend-down) and qualitative data (classroom observations, learner surveys, industry partner feedback).Build strategic consensus among iCA staff, school directors, and site leads to implement secondary improvement priorities.Help schools execute programmatic implementation plans for new CTE pathways or college cohorts, including setting rigorous goals, enrollment timelines, and success benchmarks.Maintain systems for monitoring progress toward secondary goals, collecting data on learner performance in off-site or online college courses, and conducting regular evaluations of instructional effectiveness.Analyze complex data sets related to secondary outcomes to inform real-time decision-making and adjust instructional strategies.Organize and facilitate targeted professional development, model PBL strategies, observe CTE instructors, and train staff on dual enrollment and grant compliance systems.Promote a culture of reflection and adaptation within secondary departments, encouraging staff to use performance data to pivot instruction and support structures.Analyze barriers to college-career readiness, identify innovative solutions, and make effective decisions to ensure equitable access for all learners.Establish systems for monitoring the fidelity of grant-funded program implementation to meet funding requirements.Support school-to-home connections, community outreach, and partnership development to strengthen community engagement and programming.Perform other duties as assigned.What You Will Bring (Qualifications)Teaching credential required.Classroom experience required.Leadership experience required.Strong understanding of secondary education.Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.Ability to lead and motivate others.Experience with data analysis and reporting.Commitment to equity and inclusion in education.Very high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness.Thrives in a collaborative, team-based, fast-paced environment.Passionate and supportive of the mission and vision, with a strong desire to make a difference for the future of all iLEAD Schools.Preferred experience in Career-Technical Education, Dual Enrollment, and/or high school program coaching, development, and implementation.iLEAD California is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering diversity within its staff. iCA promotes equal opportunity for all employees and applicants and complies with local, state, and federal laws to ensure an equal employment opportunity for everyone.
