Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. Duties
Supervise all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs through effective inventory management practices.
Oversee the implementation of food safety standards and sanitation procedures to comply with health regulations.
Train, develop, and motivate kitchen staff to enhance culinary skills, improve productivity, and foster a positive team environment.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders in a quick service or casual dining setting.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking.
Manage shift schedules, supervise staff performance, conduct interviews for new hires, and handle disciplinary actions when necessary.
Requirements
Please do not apply unless you have a minimum of 1 year managing and leading a full-service restaurant kitchen team.
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a fast food or quick service restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential.
Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in hospitality or food service management roles.
Familiarity with inventory control techniques and food safety regulations; certification in food handling is preferred.
Excellent communication skills for staff training, team management, and customer service interactions.
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
Experience working in casual dining or fine dining establishments; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
