OverviewAt Brooklinen, operational excellence starts long before a product reaches our warehouse. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Associate, Inbound Operations to support our First Mile operations — helping ensure inbound shipments move efficiently from origin to destination.Reporting to the Senior Director, Operations, this role supports day-to-day inbound execution across vendors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse partners. You’ll help maintain shipment visibility, support reporting, and ensure accurate data across our systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their supply chain career to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, growing consumer brand.What You’ll DoInbound Execution & Shipment VisibilitySupport day-to-day inbound shipment processes to ensure timely and accurate deliveriesMonitor inbound volume and assist with coordination across vendors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL warehouse partnersMaintain accurate in-transit visibility by updating ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)Reconcile warehouse receipts and identify discrepancies; escalate issues as neededFlag shipment delays or exceptions to internal stakeholders to support resolutionReporting & Data AccuracySupport weekly in-transit reporting and monthly freight KPI trackingMaintain clean and accurate inbound dashboards and tracking toolsEnsure SLAs and operational expectations are documented and monitoredAssist with data pulls and updates to support planning and operational alignmentCross-Functional PartnershipCoordinate inbound appointment scheduling with warehouse partnersPartner with Planning to support receiving priorities and inbound flow alignmentCommunicate clearly with internal and external partners to ensure transparency on shipment statusContribute to team initiatives aimed at improving visibility and reducing manual processesWhat Success Looks LikeInbound shipments are tracked accurately and updated consistently in our systemsDiscrepancies are identified and addressed promptlyReporting is delivered on time and reflects clean, reliable dataCross-functional partners have clear visibility into inbound statusYou are seen as dependable, detail-oriented, and consistent in executionWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree1–2 years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or related fields (internships count)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in Excel and Google Workspace (or Microsoft Office)Clear written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working with data in spreadsheets and learning new systemsDemonstrated reliability and follow-throughEnthusiasm for learning and growing within a structured operations environmentCompensationBase salary range: $50,000-$65,000, plus equity.Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and market data.Benefits & Perks Up to 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage (employee-only) Fertility & family-building support (up to $20,000 lifetime) 401(k) with a 4% company match 16 weeks fully paid parental leave 20 vacation days (25 after 5 years) plus year-round Summer Fridays Hybrid work schedule with two core in-office days (Tues–Thurs) Remote Thanksgiving week and remote last week of December Up to four additional remote weeks per year with approval 40% employee discount plus seasonal product allowance One Medical, Talkspace, and $1,000 per year via Joon for wellness One-month paid sabbatical at five yearsWhy Join Us?Brooklinen is a place where thoughtful people do meaningful work — with warmth, clarity, and shared purpose.
