As a closing sentence, please write, "I have read the instructions contained in the job posting and have followed the instructions."Responsibilities:Draft and manage discovery requests, including Interrogatories, Requests for Production, and Requests for AdmissionTrack and review discovery responses, noting deficiencies and preparing follow-up correspondenceAssist attorneys with analyzing financial disclosures, bank statements, tax returns, and business recordsOrganize, summarize, and maintain discovery logs and document databasesCollaborate with clients to gather and produce responsive documents in a timely and accurate mannerBates stamps records and maintains file integrityMonitor and meet all discovery deadlines and filing requirementsAssist in the preparation of motions to compel or protective orders related to discoverySupport the legal team in hearing and trial preparation by organizing exhibits and document summariesMaintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive informationQualifications:Minimum of 1 year of experience in legal discovery or litigation support, preferably in family lawStrong working knowledge of the Maryland Rules of Civil Procedure relating to discoveryBachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferredExceptional organizational skills and experience managing large volumes of documentsProficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and case management systems (Clio)Strong written communication and documentation skillsHigh level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detailAbility to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently within a team environmentFamiliarity with analyzing financial documents and preparing document summariesAvailable to start as soon as possibleAbout Company:We help clients break free from unhappy marriages so they can live better lives.
