Technical program manager — Cyber Program (SOW)

Contract Technical Program Manager, GRS Cyber (Remote) , 12 months + extendable.Overview You'll lead delivery across GRS Cyber's technology and data portfolio for a global (re)insurance cyber strategy. The job is to turn strategic bets into roadmaps and coordinate Cyber Risk Engineering, Data Science, Claims and Technology partners. You'll also run governance and be the main stakeholder contact. You'll work with limited guidance, influence decisions at all levels, and help set consistent, data- and AI-enabled delivery practices.Program scope (5 investments)Cyber Risk Assessment tool: a multi-year global, data-driven tool that improves underwriting at the portfolio and insured level.Global underwriting digitization: one set of tools, data and processes across GRS offices, built once and deployed many times.North America cyber-hazard benchmarking: map how general lines (excluding Surety) treat cyber hazard, aligned to the LII/LM Re cyber model, and use the results to set guidelines and data standards.Claims and loss insights: improve Incident Response (IR) data capture, IR vendor feedback and Global Claims Center (GCC) coding so loss drivers are visible globally.Cyber insights portal: a public, interactive portal on cyber market trends.ResponsibilitiesDelivery: own the end-to-end roadmap and serve as the single point of contact. Coordinate releases, cutovers and handoffs to business-as-usual. Follow the Blueprint methodology and GRS TPM Office standards.Governance and risk: run SteerCo, decision logs, the RAID register and stage gates. Resolve cross-team and global dependencies, and escalate risks early.Data and AI: use analytics to spot delivery risk early. Understand the underlying models well enough to weigh trade-offs, and make sure data use meets security, privacy and responsible-use standards.Financials and KPIs: track burn vs. plan and forecast vs. actuals. Tie KPIs to business outcomes, not just activity.Stakeholders: keep stakeholder plans across functions and offices, and present trade-offs to senior leadership. Partner with LII/LM Re on benchmarking.Key relationships Sponsor and SteerCo; Cyber Risk Engineering, Data Science and Technology; GCC and IR vendors; underwriting leads and NA general-lines partners; LII/LM Re; Finance, Procurement and Security.Success looks likeA clear, executable roadmap across all five investmentsFewer dependency delays, with risks caught before they hit commitmentsUnderwriting and claims data captured consistently at global scaleAn insights portal that brokers and customers use and trustReliable governance artifacts (RAID, decision logs, status reporting)QualificationsRequired•    8+ years' experience delivering technology or data programs, including experience leading large, multi-workstream programs with multiple external partners.•    Strong technical fluency — able to engage credibly on data platforms, risk-assessment tooling and integration architecture.•    Demonstrated strength in governance, risk management, dependency mapping and financial reporting (burn vs. plan).•    Comfortable working across insurance or reinsurance underwriting, claims and data functions; able to translate business requirements into delivery plans.•    Exceptional negotiation, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills across global, cross-functional teams.•    Proven ability to operate with limited guidance and manage ambiguity in a fast-evolving environment.Preferred•    Experience in cyber insurance, reinsurance or a related specialty line.•    Experience with claims-data platforms, incident-response processes or risk-assessment tooling.•    Familiarity with data governance, privacy or responsible-AI considerations in a regulated industry.•    Relevant certifications: PMP, SAFe or equivalent program-delivery credentials.Behavioral attributes•    Strategic mindset with operational rigor — thinks big but delivers with discipline.•    Data-driven and metrics-oriented, treating analytics as a tool for better judgment rather than a replacement for it.•    Collaborative, pragmatic and decisive under pressure, especially across global and matrixed teams.•    Comfortable working as a contractor embedded in a multi-year, multi-partner program without direct authority over every team involved.submit resumes to: ram@simplexinfo.com
