Quality InspectorCummings Electrical is hiring a Quality Inspector for our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX. Cummings Electrical, one of the leading providers of electrical contracting services in DFW, is currently seeking an experienced Quality Inspector who is responsible for ensuring that the Electrical Integration team installs products that meet or exceed expected standard of quality. Conducts Quality Inspections and hands on tasks related to Quality functions. Promoting high quality standards for all products being integrated/installed.Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC's and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more.As part of our team, you will work hands-on in a fast-paced, innovative environment, helping reduce jobsite risks, accelerate project timelines, and deliver high-quality solutions. If you are looking for growth, meaningful work, and a chance to be part of a team shaping the future of off-site integration and manufacturing, this is the place to make an impact!ResponsibilitiesSubmission of Non-Conformance Reports to SupervisorsPreparation of daily/weekly progress reportsHands on tool use for Quality InspectionsReviewing Quality Management System and identifying any issuesKeeping emphasis on the product and services being the highest standard of Quality achievableProvide guidance, support and motivation to Quality Technicians and Electrical Integration Team to ensure a high level of performanceOversee Quality Inspections by TechniciansVerify the correct product is being used during the installation processInitiate Quality Standards from contractor document submittals, and specificationsMaintain and improve existing standards and guidelines, implementing industry and company best practicesEnsure the Quality of Product does not waver, regardless of schedule or cost impactMaintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities periodically to ensure proper activity documentationInteract closely with internal teams to ensure that project needs and objectives are met, while maintaining the highest standard of work possibleCollaborate with Integration Supervision, Electrical and Quality Technicians to ensure that electrical installations meet or exceed customer specifications and expectationsFilling out task related documentationConducting inspections and tests on products or services at various stages of the production or service delivery processInitiate correspondence regarding deficient product or installation, including Non-Conformance Reports and related documents and picturesEnsuring company assigned tool and assets are in good conditionAdditional duties as requiredWork Schedule:Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (subject to business needs)Occasional Saturdays as requiredDuring active projects, hours may shift to 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with some SaturdaysQualificationsHigh School Diploma3+ Years Licensed Electrical ApprenticeFundamental Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and Electrical InstallationsFundamental comprehension of Microsoft Office applicationsPrevious manufacturing experience preferredCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time during scheduled shiftsAbility to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required by job dutiesHow we support you:Our environment allows you to take pride in your work, create meaningful connections, and acquire growth-based development skills.
