Infant Teacher As an Infant Teacher at Guiding Hands Christian Academy & Childcare, you'll help care for little ones. You'll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of each child. Guiding Hands Christian Academy & Childcare provides a safe and compassionate environment while parents meet their financial responsibilities. It shows and teaches God's love for all and teaches social and emotional skills to all children to aid them in self-regulation. Benefits include Monday thru Friday; only 4 Saturdays/year for training, paid holidays, paid days off, health insurance: dental, vision, and medical (sick & preventative care), Tel-a-med for illnesses, and discounted childcare. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to infant and toddler development levels, documenting infant and toddler learning experience through displays and pictures, maintaining positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basis, maintaining a safe, comforting and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, facilitating and maintaining childcare licensing standards, quality star standards and program policies, and being friendly and having a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environment. Qualifications include a strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels with speaking to parents, an energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality, showing initiative; strong work ethic, and a high school diploma. Compensation: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour.
