Human Resources Generalist
Our HR Generalist serves as a key partner to both employees and operations leadership within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for implementing and administering HR programs and policies that support workforce performance, communication, and employee engagement on the plant floor.The HR Generalist works closely with operations leaders to address day-to-day people needs, including performance management, employee relations, and recognition programs—ensuring alignment with business objectives and production goals. This role also partners with the Talent Acquisition team to support staffing for assigned areas, helping to meet workforce demands in a timely and efficient manner.As a primary point of contact for employees, the HR Generalist provides guidance on HR policies and procedures, fosters a positive employee experience, and helps maintain a productive, compliant, and engaged workforce. In addition, this role supports key site initiatives such as new hire orientations, employee engagement activities, and plant or corporate events.Major ResponsibilitiesPartner with internal customer groups to ensure coordination of HR programs and processes within a specific business function or segment of the company.Implement and enforce programs and policies that drive employee engagement and performance.Act as a trusted advisor for supervisors and managers regarding employee relations, training and development of their teams.Administer compensation programs, salary planning, and job evaluations.Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Team for staffing and to drive employment-branding initiatives.Ensure personal and company compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations; ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Coordinate and support training initiatives for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.EducationBachelor’s Degree in HR or related field OR equivalent experienceWork Experience2 years of HR experience within a fast-paced working environment.Knowledge / Skills / AbilitiesAbility to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.Handle sensitive employee information and maintain confidentiality at all timesPreferred Job RequirementsCertification / LicensePHR certificationWork ExperienceWorkday ExperiencePrevious experience in manufacturingExperience implementing new HR processes and programs.Knowledge / Skills / AbilitiesExperience recruiting hourly manufacturing employees in a seasonal environment and/or experience recruiting professional and technical employees.Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities or organizational needs.Accurately maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Provide excellent service to employees by addressing their HR needs, concerns, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
