Our stores offer the right mix of products at a great value every day, and our friendly, helpful staff love to help neighbors make the most of their homes.Position SummaryThe Seasonal Specialist plays a leadership role in driving sales and customer engagement within the Lawn & Garden and Seasonal departments. In this role, you'll promote and share your knowledge of seasonal plants, outdoor power equipment, and related merchandise to grow sales, build customer and business relationships, and ensure customers have a first-class experience.You'll work closely with the General Manager and Merchandising team to implement seasonal programs, provide feedback on merchandising needs, and maintain high standards for presentation and safety. This role is perfect for someone who loves seasonal products, thrives in a hands-on retail environment, and enjoys training and developing associates.What You'll DoSales PerformanceSupport management in implementing, driving, and monitoring customer engagement strategies to meet sales and margin objectives.Execute sales initiatives within the Lawn & Garden and Seasonal departments.Establish and grow relationships with customers and local businesses.Promote special-order sales and cross-merchandise add-on items.Lead by example in customer engagement and maintain a high-level presence in the Seasonal department.Manage quotes and estimates for customers.Merchandising & Department GrowthImplement best practices for merchandising and selling seasonal products.Partner with Merchandising to ensure programs are executed and provide feedback on product and presentation needs.Ensure ad merchandise is prominently displayed and seasonal displays are engaging and sales-driven.Maintain department safety standards and awareness.Train and develop associates in the Seasonal department.What We're Looking ForStrong knowledge of Seasonal, Lawn & Garden, and outdoor power equipment.Experience with customer sales and engagement.Positive, team-oriented attitude with great communication skills.Ability to lead, train, and develop associates.Comfortable managing time, following processes, and contributing ideas.Previous retail experience in a seasonal or lawn/garden role is highly desirable.Why You'll Love Working HereComprehensive benefits, including health and life insurance.401(k) contribution to support your future.Paid holidays and a minimum of two weeks' vacation to start.Employee discount on the products you know and love.Ready to grow with us?Apply today and become a Seasonal Specialist at Busy Beaver!Equal Employment OpportunityBusy Beaver is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
