Our technicians travel all over the Southeast region performing hardware installs, new store builds, service calls, and on-site training. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to join a dynamic I.T. team and use a variety of technologies and techniques to support our growing brand. This position reports to the IT Retail Support Manager.On a daily basis our IT Field Support Specialist:Available to work weekendsProvide customer service and technical support to over 260 franchise locationsProvide remote desktop support for Windows 10, off-the-shelf, and proprietary softwareTroubleshoot hardware, software, printing, and network issuesSetup Local Area Networks and VPN connectionsMonitor VPN connections, and internet up timeAct as a customer liaison for HP, Internet Service Providers, and Credit Card ProcessorsImage computers using imaging softwareTravel on-site for hardware installations, break fix, and new store build outsTravel on-site to train users on off-the-shelf, and proprietary softwareTerminate and test CAT5 network cableConform to Pinch A Penny installation standards and quality control.What You Will Need:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or 3 years of I.T experienceClean driving recordExcellent troubleshooting skillsAble to work independently and in a team.Fluent knowledge in windows, proficient knowledge in Active Directory, Hyper-V or virtualization, Powershell or Scripting, MSSQL or database queries preferred.Auto Insurance Requirements:Bodily Injury Liability: $100,000 per person/ $300,000 per accidentProperty Damage Liability: $ 50,000Looking to work for the best in the industry?Since opening its first store in 1975, Pinch A Penny, A POOLCORP Company, has become the largest franchised retail pool, patio and spa company.
