Stew's earned its nickname, the "Disneyland of Dairy Stores" because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop.Full Time Hourly Estimated pay range $ 25.50-$28 depending on qualifications and experienceMust be at least 18 years and olderPosition Description:Ensure the building's physical structure, exterior faade, and attached equipment are maintained at optimal performance levels through effective daily supervision. Perform and complete assigned work orders and repairs on all aspects of the building with professionalism, consistency, and attention to detail. Accurately design and estimate display construction projects and store remodels, including pricing materials and labor. Execute approved projects in a timely manner while working collaboratively as part of the facilities team under the direction of the Facilities Manager. Use appropriate materials and methods to make repairs and complete installations as required. Provide support on additional department tasks and special projects as assigned by the Facilities Manager.Your day-to-day:Design, spec, price out and build displays in a timely manner as envisioned by the sales teamModify/remodel the store in an effort to support sales goalsModify store foot print to accommodate seasonal sales aspectsRepairs as necessary to any and all aspects of the physical buildingShop maintenance and assisting the FM with any building related tasks as necessaryWhat you bring to the team:Ability work and function within a TEAM environment.Ability to juggle multiple tasks; Flexibility in work scheduleExamples of Daily Decision Making:To remodel or build a new display based on the current lay out and time frameTo repair floor tiles or wall cladding on the existing structureQualifications:Vocational/trade school degree and /or 3+ years of experienceKnowledge of trades such as framing, trim carpentry, tile and finishingFamiliar with operation of power tools, shop tools, miters and steelProficiency in the use of Excel, Word, Internet research engines, OSHA 10 CertificationFamily Oriented: We respect the personal balance between work and family with career opportunity and growth- over 80% of our managers have been promoted from within.Benefits: High value, high quality Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, 401 K plan for FT & PT team members, family & personal time, life insurance, and more!Environment: Have you seen the Avocado Girls?
