Technical Data Analyst

Overview In this role you will build AI-ready data foundations for Fidelity’s Asset Management Platform, enabling AI-enabled portfolio management tools. You’ll bridge Portfolio Management Tooling with enterprise data, collaborating across data, engineering and investment stakeholders. You will design scalable data models and transformations that support multiple AI use cases while ensuring governance and quality. This is a hands-on, cross-functional opportunity to shape data capabilities that drive better investment decisions. ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop AI-ready data models for enterprise and investment data used by AI applications and front-office toolingDevelop data transformations and integration patterns connecting enterprise sources with AI needsDesign for scalability and reuse to support multiple PM tools and AI use casesCollaborate with Data Strategy, Snowflake implementation, engineers and investment stakeholders to make data readily consumable by AI toolsSupport AI data patterns (RAG, embeddings, vector search) and rapid prototyping with production-ready solutionsEmbed data quality, governance and lineage into data solutions for trusted, traceable dataCollaborate with AI engineers, investment stakeholders, and architects to translate requirements into practical data solutions Key requirementsSnowflake experience with enterprise datasets, data modelling, transformations and curated layersETL/ELT design and implementation across multiple enterprise sourcesStrong understanding of data modelling, data quality, lineage, and governanceProficiency in SQL and/or Python for data analysis and automationExperience collaborating with data, engineering and architecture teams to deliver practical data solutionsCollaborative and cross-functional workingAnalytical and problem-solvingDelivery-focused and pragmaticSnowflakeETL/ELT pipelinesSQL
