This role requires a highly creative, digitally savvy individual who can connect with prospective students in authentic and compelling ways online.ResponsibilitiesUnderstands, supports, and carries out the college's mission, vision, and values and complies with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodiesImplements recruitment strategies for prospective students virtually, including social media and website buildCoordinates activities with all campuses and community partnersProvides prospective students, high school counselors, and community partners with information concerning the admissions process, admissions decisions, orientation, registration, and financial aid processing on all social platformsCoordinates and provides virtual campus/instructional site tours to prospective studentsConducts workshops and coordinates special events and activities designed to boost enrollmentTracks prospective students through the enrollment pipelineUtilizes technology to track prospective and applied students through the application and enrollment processProvides outreach and communication to prospective and applied students through the application and enrollment processPerforms other duties as assignedDevelop engaging, visually appealing, and shareable content for social media to attract prospective studentsBuild and maintain a personal ¿voice¿ for the college on social platforms while promoting programs and eventsLeverage trends and creative storytelling to increase reach and connection with prospective studentsRequired QualificationsKnowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational fieldExperience sufficient to thoroughly understand the diverse objectives and functions of the subunits in the division/department in order to direct and coordinate work within the division/department, usually interpreted to require 3 to 5 years of related experiencePossession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle or equipment operatedPreferred QualificationsSix months or more of experience with admissions, social media, or marketingProposed Salary$19.23 per hourRequired Documents to AttachResumeCover LetterTranscriptsKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesStrong understanding of social media trends, engagement strategies, and audience buildingAbility to create compelling digital content, including graphics, short-form videos, and interactive postsKnowledge of federal, state, and institutional policies and procedures related to admissions and student enrollmentKnowledge of admissions requirementsKnowledge of GHC programs of studyKnowledge of college policies and proceduresKnowledge of computers and job-related software programsSkill in the analysis of problems and the development and implementation of solutionsSkill in oral and written communicationUnderstands the trends of social media and electronic recruitmentApply Before DateApplications will be reviewed as received.Contact InformationFor more information or questions about a job posting, please contact Human Resources by email at jobs@highlands.eduFor technical support, please contact the Shared Services Center at (877) 251-2644 or oneusgsupport@usg.eduUSG Core ValuesThe University System of Georgia is comprised of our 25 institutions of higher education and learning as well as the System Office.
