About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Workday HCM Analyst to join our HR Technology team. This role is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and reporting of our Workday Human Capital Management platform, serving as a key resource for HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders across the organization.The ideal candidate brings hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience combined with strong reporting capabilities, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering scalable, user-friendly solutions that support the employee lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a Workday professional looking to grow their platform expertise in a fully remote environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConfiguration & System AdministrationConfigure and maintain Workday HCM modules including Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and/or Time TrackingManage business process configurations, condition rules, notifications, and approval workflowsAdminister security roles, user-based security groups, and domain policies in alignment with governance standardsSupport bi-annual Workday release cycles — assess feature impact, perform testing, and implement updatesTroubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and deliver timely resolutions for end-user requestsMaintain system documentation including configuration workbooks, business process maps, and change logsReporting & AnalyticsDesign, build, and maintain Workday reports including Standard, Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Trending report typesDevelop calculated fields and report filters to meet complex business reporting requirementsBuild and maintain Workday Dashboards and Worklets to support HR and leadership visibility into key workforce metricsPartner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable data insightsSupport data audits and ensure accuracy and integrity of Workday data across modulesAssist in the development of self-service reporting capabilities for HR Business Partners and managersStakeholder Partnership & SupportServe as a day-to-day point of contact for HR, Payroll, and business users on Workday-related questions and system requestsGather and document business requirements, translating them into effective Workday configurations and reporting solutionsDeliver end-user training, job aids, and documentation to support adoption of new features and processesPartner with HRIS, IT, and Payroll teams to ensure cross-functional alignment on system changes and enhancementsParticipate in HR technology projects including new module deployments, system enhancements, and process improvement initiativesGovernance & Continuous ImprovementFollow change management and governance processes for all system configuration updatesIdentify opportunities to improve system efficiency, automate manual processes, and enhance the employee and manager experienceStay current with Workday product releases, new features, and industry best practicesMaintain data integrity standards and support compliance requirements across HCM modulesRequired Qualifications3+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience including both configuration and reportingProficiency in configuring at least two or more Workday HCM modules (Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Absence, or Time Tracking)Demonstrated experience building Advanced, Matrix, and/or Composite reports in WorkdayExperience with calculated fields, business process configuration, and condition rulesSolid understanding of Workday security framework including role-based and user-based securityStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracyExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical HR stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, remote environmentPreferred QualificationsWorkday HCM Pro certification in one or more modulesExperience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, or Studio)Familiarity with Workday Prism Analytics or People AnalyticsExperience supporting a Workday implementation or major module deploymentKnowledge of HR processes and compliance requirements across the employee lifecycleExperience with Agile or iterative delivery methodologiesPrior experience in a regulated industry (financial services, healthcare, life sciences) a plusEducationBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field requiredLocation & ScheduleFully remote — U.S.-based candidates onlyStandard business hours; time zone flexibility considered for the right candidateCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: Up to $125,000 depending on experienceComprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with employer matchGenerous PTO and flexible working arrangementsWorkday certification sponsorship and professional development support
