What you’ll do Prepare and file individual and corporate tax returns accurately and efficiently. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage to streamline processes. Analyze financial data to identify potential deductions and credits for clients. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to enhance marketing strategies that attract new clients. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Perform bookkeeping tasks to support clients’ financial needs throughout the year. Conduct thorough reviews of financial documents to ensure accuracy in reporting. Basic qualifications Strong understanding of financial concepts and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage. Excellent math skills with the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately. Solid experience in public accounting or tax preparation roles. Preferred qualifications Previous experience in corporate accounting or financial sales is a plus. Familiarity with technical accounting principles and practices. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Proficient in 10-key typing for efficient data entry.
