Maintenance Mechanic
Job Summary Maintain, troubleshoot, document, and repair production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. CNC machining centers, mills, lathes, grinders, Etc.Install, maintain, and repair electrical & mechanical apparatus, servo systems, transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipmentTroubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment and systems throughout facility.Coordinate and/or work with 3rd party or specialty services as needed to accomplish maintenance goals.Perform general facilities maintenance, such as building systems troubleshooting, minor construction, painting, and office/equipment movesBuilding systems & facility auditing, troubleshooting, and repair.Maintain systems, equipment, and facilities to comply with safety standards and proceduresIdentify supplies and materials (pipe, wiring, repair parts, conduit, etc.) and submit purchase requisitions as needed.Perform preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repair on material handling equipment. Forklifts, Pallet jacks, Hoists etc.Document maintenance and regulatory activities and provide feedback to improveWork independently and collaboratively to support production and facility needsPerform other job-related duties as assignedSKILLS/ABILITIES:CNC machine tool maintenance and repairElectronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing and mechanical diagnostic and repair abilitiesKnowledge of PLC's, ladder logic, and parametric programmingGeneral knowledge of machine tools, shop equipment and terminology.Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, welding/fabrication, and general building maintenanceAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsComputer skills.Good communication skills.Work independently and as part of a team when appropriate.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:High School Degree or equivalent.2-7 years' experience in CNC tool machine and facilities maintenance, electrical and mechanical.PLC experience or programming logic a plus.Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing and electrical equipment.What We Do:Mark Andy is a pioneer of the graphic arts and printing industry. Work requires the use of PPE on the facility's production floor. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl and move about facility and/or customer's facilities. Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
