Job Title: Bar & Cafe Attendant (Sangria/Spritz Bar + Coffee Service)Position SummaryWe are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Bar & Cafe Attendant to join our team. This role blends bartending, barista service, and light food service in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, efficient, and takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming space while delivering excellent service.This is a seasonal opportunity beginning mid-may through October 31st.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and batch house beverages, including sangria and spritz selections, during designated prep timeProvide bartending service focused on wine, sangria, and spritz offeringsOperate POS system to process guest orders accurately and efficientlyPrepare and serve gelato using a capsule-style system (similar to Nespresso)Deliver high-quality coffee and espresso beverages as part of barista serviceServe light bites such as oysters, shrimp, olives, and focaccia with proper presentation and food safety standardsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, cafe, and service areas at all timesComplete opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, stocking, and cleaningEnsure a positive guest experience through attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly serviceQualificationsPrevious experience in bartending, barista, or food service preferredComfortable handling multiple service functions in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and cleanlinessBasic knowledge of wine and cocktails (or willingness to learn)Ability to operate POS systemsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate itemsPreferred SkillsExperience with coffee/espresso machinesFamiliarity with food safety and handling practicesInterest in hospitality, food, and beverage trends
