The Controller position will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for managing the financial operations of Highway and partnering with leaders across the organization to drive growth and efficiency. Your role:Oversee day to day accounting functions.Manage, build and develop the accounting team. Manage the technology utilized by the accounting / finance team and evolve / implement scalable systems and processes to support the growth of the business. Manage the monthly financial close process and any associated reporting required by the leadership team. Manage and prepare financial statements monthly and quarterly, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Drive and monitor compliance across the business, integrate best practices and find opportunities of improvement.Implement cash flow projections and deliver updates to the leadership team as needed.Manage the annual audit and tax return process.Analyze costs and profitability and ensure alignment with approved budgets. QualificationsProven experience in finance and accounting, expert in general accounting work and GAAP compliance.Previous experience with SaaS business models is preferred.Ability to track with a high growth organization in a fast paced environment that ensures visibility and accuracy on current financials and projections. Collaborative, focused on results with a track record of process improvements, automation and efficiency. Previous experience as a Corporate Controller is highly preferred.CPA preferred.
